Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Manager to join our team at InsideHigherEd. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the payroll process, including data entry, calculations, and disbursements
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including tax laws and labor standards
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and finance teams
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll management or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
