Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at Arnolds Office Furniture. This is a full-time position that will be responsible for managing financial operations, including accounts payable and employee record-keeping.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts payable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, maintaining positive vendor relationships.
  • Schedule and process payments according to terms and company policies.
  • Assist with new hire paperwork, maintaining employee files, and ensuring records comply with legal requirements.
  • Support payroll preparation by ensuring timely submission of relevant documentation for employee hours, benefits, and deductions.
  • Track and record time-off requests, updating payroll and HR systems as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including data entry for general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain professional vendor relationships, coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely payments and resolution of any billing issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or HR roles.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and HR software systems.
  • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • High level of accuracy and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
