Position Overview: The Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Leader will oversee the development and implementation of policies related to all aspects of human resources, including the recruitment and onboarding of new talent.

  • Ensure adherence to all legal standards and government reporting regulations affecting human resource operations, ensuring policies and procedures comply with these requirements.
  • Manage the recruitment process, including interviewing, hiring, and termination of employees, along with overseeing post-employment activities.
  • Establish relationships with local educational institutions to attract talent for professional roles across the organization.
  • Oversee all onboarding processes; follow up with new hires and conduct onboarding surveys.
  • Ensure new employees complete necessary onboarding tasks such as acknowledgments, enrollments, and training within specified timelines.
  • Maintain and monitor checklists for new hires and terminations to ensure proper procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate communication between HR and IT departments regarding employee access to company resources.
  • Develop and revise job descriptions to align with business needs regarding qualifications and competencies.
  • Conduct new employee orientations to promote a positive attitude towards the company's goals and values.
  • Audit and verify new employee setups for accuracy, including data entries and access levels.
  • Maintain comprehensive employee records, including new hires, onboarding, status changes, performance evaluations, and terminations.
  • Keep the company’s organizational chart up to date.
  • Organize employee engagement initiatives and training programs.
  • Assist managers with the annual performance review process.
  • Provide guidance to management on resolving employee relations issues.
  • Address employee inquiries related to HR matters.
  • Administer the performance review program to ensure its effectiveness and compliance.
  • Respond to employee questions regarding benefits programs, including health insurance, leave policies, and employee assistance.
  • Investigate workplace incidents and prepare reports for insurance purposes.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance HR functions.
  • Manage relationships with HR vendors.
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program.
  • Oversee salary administration to ensure fairness and compliance within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Recruitment.
  • Ability to research and analyze data, draw conclusions, and resolve issues effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Experience with dashboards, reports, spreadsheets, and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and employee relations abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Understanding of HIPAA guidelines.
  • Strong language skills: capable of reading and interpreting documents, writing reports, and speaking effectively in group settings.
  • Strong mathematical skills: able to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
  • Strong reasoning skills: capable of solving practical problems and interpreting various instructions.
  • Exceptional writing and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face interactions with employees.
  • Excellent organizational and process development skills.
