Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a strong deterrent to dishonest behaviors throughout the store by demonstrating a command presence and adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a safe and secure store environment by identifying and reporting potential security risks and collaborating with store leadership to implement effective solutions.
- Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote a positive and respectful experience, while also identifying opportunities to reduce theft and fraud.
- Support the development and implementation of shortage reduction programs and processes, including training and coaching associates on asset protection procedures.
- Collaborate with store leadership to prepare and execute semi-annual inventory processes and develop action plans to reduce shortage.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail loss prevention or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, associates, and store leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address security risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
