Overview:

This role entails providing support for various international trade compliance initiatives and projects, directly reporting to the Associate General Counsel for Global Compliance.

This position offers the flexibility of being fully remote or based in one of our U.S. locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer legal expertise on international trade compliance issues encompassing export regulations, sanctions, and product classifications.
  • Evaluate emerging trade laws and perform risk assessments.
  • Formulate and enforce trade compliance governance frameworks.
  • Guide business teams on intricate classification and licensing challenges.
  • Embed trade compliance within essential business operations.
  • Provide compliance training and assistance.
  • Conduct investigations and audits related to trade.
  • Work collaboratively with external legal advisors and regulatory bodies.
  • Support compliance due diligence in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Address complex legal matters associated with customs and international trade.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • A minimum of 5 years of legal practice in international trade compliance, ideally within the semiconductor or technology sectors.
  • Proficient understanding of U.S. trade regulations and global trade laws.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen in accordance with ITAR regulations.
