Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of our patients and developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient respiratory status and develop comprehensive respiratory care plans
  • Apply and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient therapy and treatment
  • Provide exceptional patient care and empathy in a fast-paced clinical environment
Requirements
  • Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure
  • American Heart Association BLS healthcare provider certification
  • Graduate of a respiratory care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
