Respiratory Therapist RRT

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist RRT to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities:- Perform a variety of diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures, including the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Maintain all department and hospital records, entering accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
- Work in a stressful environment and take appropriate actions in volatile situations, demonstrating critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
