Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a vital part of our patient care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver respiratory care services to patients, including diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Monitor patients receiving invasive and noninvasive mechanical ventilation.
- Perform ventilator management and weaning procedures.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory care and disease management.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
- Graduate of a respiratory care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
