Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist RRT PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities- Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.
- Assist with placement of artificial airways and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients for therapeutic response and notify providers as necessary.
- Respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation.
- Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider certification.
- Graduate of Respiratory Care program accredited by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and moving equipment.
- Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Customer service abilities, including effective listening skills.
