Role Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will play a pivotal role in the orientation, ongoing education, and evaluation of clinical personnel.

Your responsibilities will encompass:
  • Overseeing the onboarding and orientation processes for new staff and students within designated units.
  • Engaging in and contributing to nursing research initiatives.
  • Acting as a consultant, mentor, and change agent for staff and clinical leaders.
  • Leading committees and workgroups focused on the execution of educational programs.
  • Disseminating findings from research, evidence-based practices, and quality improvement efforts through presentations, publications, and consultations.
  • Assisting in the formulation of departmental goals, standards, and objectives that align with the organization’s strategic vision.
  • Planning, updating, and assessing clinical competencies to ensure the quality of patient care and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Utilizing evaluation data to inform decisions regarding educational programming.

Education and Certification Requirements:
Required qualifications include:
  • Nursing degree
  • BLS certification from recognized organizations
  • Registered Nurse Compact License or State of Florida RN License
Work Experience:
A minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience, with at least two (2) years in facilitating learning and professional development is essential.

Work Environment:
This role may involve exposure to various biological hazards and requires critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.
