As a leading entity in the aerospace sector, Boeing is expanding its capabilities in the design, development, integration, and testing of Guidance Navigation and Control (GN&C) systems for aircraft, missiles, and autonomous systems. We invite talented engineers to contribute to innovative projects that will enhance GN&C performance analysis and simulation solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and gather system-level requirements for GN&C systems.
- Conduct design and analysis of GN&C systems, including simulations, models, and tools.
- Support design reviews, analyses, simulations, and testing to ensure products meet customer expectations.
- Assist in troubleshooting operational anomalies and incidents of delivered products.
- Engage in new business development initiatives.
- Work under general supervision to achieve project goals.
All work is performed onsite to adhere to security standards and protocols.
Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum of 1 year of engineering work experience.
- Experience or coursework in aircraft, missile, spacecraft, or similar vehicle GN&C systems.
- Proficiency in using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX for system modeling.
- Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or Matlab.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active U.S. Security Clearance.
- Knowledge in Modern and Optimal Control Theory.
- Experience in simulation and system/component modeling.
- Familiarity with Kalman Filter design and estimation techniques.
- Experience in implementing algorithms in real-time systems.
Typical Education & Experience:
For various levels of experience, candidates typically possess a relevant degree and a corresponding number of years in related work experience.
