As a key member of our Payload and Ground Systems division, you will be responsible for designing and developing analog circuits, digital circuits, microcontrollers, FPGAs, equipment racks, circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, and test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate design documentation using KiCad, Visio, and other legacy tools as required
  • Develop specifications for, and perform selection of, components for use in electrical equipment
  • Develop and test control software using Python
  • Provide engineering support of laser system projects
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field with 3 years of relevant experience; 1 year of relevant experience with a STEM PhD
  • 5 years of design experience in the areas of analog and digital electronics, microcontrollers, power electronics, PWB/CCA design/development/production, electronics packaging, and FPGAs
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to cross-functional team members
  • Ability to work effectively while supporting multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred experience in developing electronic controllers used with laser systems
  • Preferred experience with schematic capture, MS Office, Visio, Python
