Position Overview
AmeriLife is currently undergoing a significant transformation of its operational framework to better address the changing needs of its stakeholders nationwide. We are seeking a Contracting Specialist to help advance our ambitious objectives.

The Contracting Specialist plays a vital role in the success of the contracting department and the broader business operations. This individual must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with various insurance carrier representatives while engaging with internal operations and key stakeholders concurrently. This position offers a hybrid work model following the training period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Input agent data into the contracting system.
  • Conduct outreach to agents to resolve any licensing or contracting issues.
  • Monitor exception reports, investigate solutions, and address exceptions as necessary.
  • Ensure that commission and hierarchy levels are aligned with contracts for agents, agencies, and carriers.
  • Communicate with the internal account management team to guarantee agency and affiliate satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the integration of new agency and affiliate partners through onboarding calls, required documentation processing, and related procedures.
  • Assist with the onboarding of direct agents.
  • Perform tasks within the established service level agreement terms and performance expectations, including timeliness, productivity, and quality.
  • Utilize established performance management systems and processes.
  • Resolve Salesforce cases as assigned.
  • Actively engage in team planning and process enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with carriers and external partners to efficiently address licensing challenges.
  • Process Agent Release Requests as required.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a strong capacity for quick learning.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive approach to initiative and innovative problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
