- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations teams meet customer requirements and adhere to compliance and regulatory rules and guidelines.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement strategies to ensure transactional operations are consistent with the company's business strategy and compliant with the local business environment.
- Quality and Performance: Monitor quality and adherence to standards, and drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
- Culture Development: Foster a high-performance service culture within the export and import departments.
- Financial Management: Ensure realization of budgetary performance by setting and monitoring clear objectives.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with customer service, product, and global service centers to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- International Freight Forwarding Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding, with a proven track record in people management and leadership.
- Cargo Wise Software Experience: Experience using Cargo Wise software is a major plus.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Proven track record in people management, with strong leadership, motivation, and people skills.
- Commercial Experience: Commercial experience is a plus, with a strong understanding of sales and business development.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
