Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist will engage with families of children aged birth to 3 in their homes and with students aged 3 to 5 in an inclusive preschool environment. The pathologist will collaborate with a team of professionals to assess, identify, and deliver direct services to eligible students.
As part of our district, you will join a collaborative team of 10 SLPs dedicated to meeting the diverse needs of our students. You will benefit from mentorship and participate in a professional learning community with fellow SLPs, including weekly collaboration and a monthly late start for additional teamwork.

Qualifications: Candidates must possess Minnesota Teacher Licensure as an Educational Speech Language Pathologist. A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language is required, though candidates eligible for this certification will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct instruction to students in speech and communication as specified in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Consult with staff on effective communication strategies and assistive technologies within the educational context.
  • Conduct speech and communication assessments for identified students.
  • Prepare necessary documentation related to speech services (IEPs, Evaluation Reports, Progress Reports, etc.).
  • Participate in and occasionally lead IEP meetings for assigned students.
  • Provide case management services for assigned students.
  • Complete Third Party Billing documentation for eligible students.

Salary: As per Teachers Work Agreement
