Job Overview
As the Aircraft Maintenance Operations Supervisor, you will oversee and coordinate the functions of the Maintenance Division, which encompasses avionics, aircraft upkeep, administrative tasks, and inventory management.

Your role will involve leading and nurturing the team responsible for the inspection, repair, and refurbishment of aircraft and their components.

In this position, you will be instrumental in strategizing and enhancing the department's capabilities and market positioning, ensuring that we have the necessary tools, training, and skilled personnel to deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to advocate for the Maintenance Division and assess customer satisfaction levels.

- Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers to foster the ongoing growth and success of the Maintenance Division.

- Develop and manage the departmental budget, ensuring that spending aligns with financial constraints.

- Formulate new business strategies and discuss capital needs and potential sales opportunities with senior management.

- Conduct personnel management tasks including recruitment, scheduling, training, performance evaluations, recognition, and disciplinary actions, while addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.

- Promote employee engagement and contributions towards the advancement and expansion of the Maintenance Division.

- Regularly assess the facility and equipment to ensure compliance with safety, operational, and aesthetic standards.

- Design and implement innovative methods and procedures aimed at enhancing customer service and operational efficiency, reducing costs, and optimizing resource utilization.

- Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Physical Requirements
The following tasks may be performed in varying weather and environmental conditions, including exposure to engine fumes, dust, or noise.

Essential Skills
- Ability to sit, communicate, and hear effectively.

- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and using hands for handling objects and reaching.

- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

- Proficient in reading, writing, and fluently speaking English.

- Capable of analyzing, interpreting, and explaining documents such as regulations, operational instructions, safety protocols, and specifications.

- Competent in writing detailed reports, documents, and correspondence.

- Skilled in performing advanced calculations and preparing routine financial and inventory reports, as well as budget forecasts.

- Effective in listening and presenting information to groups of clients, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, along with three to five years of relevant experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of ten years in general aviation or corporate jet operations.

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are essential.

- A valid state driver's license is required.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.

- An A & P license is mandatory.
