We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Expert to join our team at The Forester by Hyatt-Janko Hospitality. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for providing exceptional food service to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in storing all deliveries and ensuring compliance with food safety and handling policies.
- Prepare all potentially hazardous foods at the correct temperature according to HACCP guidelines.
- Expedite all menu items accurately and promptly.
- Standardize recipes and assist in setting up and breaking down the cooking line.
- Communicate effectively with all other staff and provide excellent customer service.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 2 years of line cook experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Food handling and sanitation certification preferred but not required.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
