About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic procedures under the supervision of a Registered Staff Tech
  • Assist Physicians and medical staff during procedures as requested/required
  • Provide excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, Physicians, other medical staff, and NMMC staff members
  • Attend required in-services, annual review, and educational programs
  • Stay abreast of changes in Radiology
  • Adhere to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines
  • Comply with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guidelines/regulations/laws/statutes
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; required
  • Successful completion of 3 semesters of didactic and clinical competency requirements from an accredited Radiologic Technology program; required
  • Registered or registry eligible by the American Radiologic Technologists within 6 months of accepting position; required (ARRT)
  • Licensed or license eligible by the State of Mississippi within 6 months of accepting position; required (MRT)
  • American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification; required
  • Good written and verbal communication; required
  • Interaction with a patient population of all ages ranging from neonates to geriatrics; required
