Key Responsibilities- Manage high-volume inbound calls from customers, resolving issues and providing solutions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including log notes and question submissions.
- Follow established customer service procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and quality.
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests, providing clear and concise information and solutions.
- Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and related services.
- Meet productivity and quality assurance standards, even during periods of high call volume.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and achieve business objectives.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Typing speed of 35-40 wpm.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to work extended hours during peak periods.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear and concise speaking voice.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills, preferably in Spanish.
- Two or more years of customer service experience, preferably in an insurance or call center environment.
- Two or more years of experience working with the NFIP or similar programs.
- Must be able to work remotely and onsite, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
