Job Summary:

We are seeking an exceptional Production Control Specialist 2 to join our Supply Chain Management Group (SCL-2) at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The selected candidate will manage construction, programmatic, and facility-related material for the Associate Lab Director for Weapons Production (ALDWP). This is a vital part of ensuring construction and facility milestones and deliverables are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction, programmatic, and facility-related material for the Associate Lab Director for Weapons Production (ALDWP).
  • Utilize multiple inventory management systems to maintain and verify inventory levels as well as ensure item traceability.
  • Ensure items are stored on shelves and organized in a manner that will ensure expeditious item retrieval.
  • Responsible for locating, pulling, and staging material for construction-related activities.
  • Ensure material pulled is the correct Management Level (ML) for end-use application and complies with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Active DOE Q clearance.
  • Ability to obtain a Forklift license.
