Nuclear Medicine Tech - Traveler

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will be responsible for preparing radioactive drugs and administering them to patients, as well as operating equipment to create images of organs or areas of the body.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare radioactive drugs and administer to patients
  • Monitor patient for unusual drug reactions
  • Operate equipment to create images of organs or areas of the body
  • Maintain patient records and add medical notes related to procedure
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience as a Nuclear Medicine Tech preferred
  • Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
  • Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending
