Job Title: Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist to join our team at RadNet. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans on patients while providing exceptional care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to detect or treat diseases using radioisotopes under the direction of a radiologist.
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET/CT scans on patients while providing excellent care and attention to detail.
- Follow company-established nuclear medicine protocols and procedures to ensure accurate and safe imaging results.
- Guide patients through the imaging process, answering their questions and concerns, and providing reassurance and support.
- Monitor patients' well-being during exams, recognizing any discomfort or medical issues and taking appropriate action.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients, providing accurate and timely information.
- Demonstrate respect for patient property, Patient Health Information, and company assets, including medications and cash.
- Exhibit professional behavior towards patients, coworkers, and the public, maintaining a positive and respectful attitude in all interactions.
Requirements:
- ARRT(N) and/or NMTCB certification
- State Nuclear Medicine License
- Venipuncture certification/permit
- CPR/BLS certification
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred
