Nuclear Medicine Technologist

At Adventist Health, we are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. This role is responsible for administering radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and be able to perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administers radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases, using radioisotope equipment.
- Administers medical substances for imaging or other procedures.
- Performs screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation.
- Coordinates patient flow and maintains procedure quality control.
Requirements:
- Diploma/certificate from an accredited school of nuclear medicine.
- Five years' nuclear medicine experience.
- State Nuclear Medicine License in CA and HI.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
- Venipuncture certification in CA and HI.
