Lead Caregiver Position:
The Lead Caregiver will serve in a dual capacity, providing essential support to both the administrative team and the caregiving staff, as well as assisting clients with their daily operational requirements.
Responsibilities will include welcoming new clients and caregivers during introductions, filling in for caregivers during their absences, mentoring new hires, and collaborating with the Operations team on various projects as needed. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) ideal for individuals who appreciate a dynamic and varied workday.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Embody the core values of Babette Home Care.
Foster a positive living environment to improve clients' quality of life.
Document daily activities and communicate any significant changes in clients' needs or living conditions.
Maintain consistent communication with supervisors and office staff.
Deliver Companionship & Home Helper services, which may include:
- Engaging in conversation and companionship
- Providing assistance with mobility
- Preparing meals and managing meal-related tasks
- Offering medication and appointment reminders
- Performing light housekeeping duties (such as dusting, vacuuming, changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchens, etc.)
- Managing laundry tasks
- Running errands
- Accompanying clients to appointments
Deliver Personal Care services, which may include:
- Assisting with bathing
- Supporting grooming needs
- Aiding with toileting and incontinence issues
Provide Specialized services, which may include:
- Advanced care for Alzheimer's/Dementia
- Hospice support
- Each Babette Home Care franchise operates independently.
