Physician Assistant I Men's Health

The Physician Assistant I Men's Health is a key member of the Urology team at Brigham and Women's Hospital, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physician Assistant to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with urological conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory and imaging studies
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Experience working in a urology setting, preferably in a hospital or academic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
