Physician Assistant I

The Brigham and Women's Hospital (BWH) is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant I to join our team. As a Physician Assistant I, you will work under the supervision of an attending physician to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage various patient populations, including medical and surgical cases.
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, develop plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Requirements:
- Graduate degree from a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation and Review Committee for Physician Assistants (ARC-PA).
- Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current valid license or eligibility for licensure as a physician assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- DEA registration and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration.
Work Environment:
The Physician Assistant I will work in a variety of settings, including ambulatory clinics, inpatient areas, intensive care units, operating rooms, and procedural areas. The position requires the ability to work in a high-stress environment with changing organizational climate.
