Key Responsibilities:- Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from proposal preparation and negotiation to administration and termination.
- Risk Management: Conduct thorough risk assessments, develop mitigation strategies, and implement effective risk management plans.
- Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing their needs proactively.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to federal contracting regulations, bidding procedures, source selection criteria, and procurement laws.
- Financial Management: Demonstrate a solid understanding of audit standards, federal cost principles, disclosure statements, and direct/indirect rate development and application.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field. Individuals with 5+ years of relevant experience in defense contracting or a related field will also be considered.
- Certified Contract Manager (CCM) or Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) is preferred.
- 3+ years of contracts administration experience.
- Experience developing Subcontractor agreements.
- Experience with US Department of Defense contracts administration.
- Understanding of the general role and required interface with DCMA and DCAA.
