We are seeking a highly skilled Activity Therapist to join our team at Del Amo Behavioral Health System. As an Activity Therapist, you will play a critical role in facilitating rehabilitation and promoting patient engagement through various therapeutic activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate patient activities to enhance rehabilitation and promote overall well-being
  • Develop and implement music, art, recreation, and other therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs
  • Direct patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance
  • Facilitate the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Recreation, Music, Art, or a related field
  • Board certification in Art Therapy or Music/Recreation Therapy
  • Minimum one year of experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Working knowledge of the psychiatric process and its relationship to arts, crafts, sports, games, and small/large group activities
