Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Department Coordinator to join our team at Marshalls. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring Associates are processing efficiently and effectively, and working as a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandise Execution: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
  • Inventory Management: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, and ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as a team to ensure an excellent customer experience, and maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Productivity Monitoring: Monitor productivity of team and coach as necessary, and ensure Associates complete tasks and activities according to store plan.
  • Store Operations: Maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience.
  • Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
  • Physical Demands: Capable of lifting heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
