Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Business Office Associate to join our dedicated team to support the school's financial and business operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical and organizational skillset, with a meticulous attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify and process vendor invoices for payment, maintaining accurate records of all accounts payable transactions.
  • Manage school's credit accounts, usage, and reconciliation, ensuring accurate allocation of tuition assistance / financial aid.
  • Assist in the processing of incoming payments, generating financial reports, and maintaining accurate financial records using accounting software.
  • Provide general operational support to the faculty and staff, coordinating with the Operations team on financial matters.
  • Assist with event budgeting and invoicing, managing insurance and risk management coverages, and providing administrative support for school's real estate management activities.
  • Prepare tax and other regulatory filings, providing additional HR support as needed, and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with parents, faculty, and staff.

Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.


• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or financial role.


• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.


• Proficiency in accounting software platforms and Microsoft Excel.


• Commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
