Job Title: Shuttle Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Shuttle Driver to provide transportation services to residents of Immanuel Lutheran Communities. As a Shuttle Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of residents to various destinations.
Responsibilities:
* Provide safe and reliable transportation services to residents
* Maintain the safe operating condition of all ILC vehicles
* Anticipate and mitigate potential safety risks
* Be hospitable and creative in meeting the transportation requests of residents and guests
* Protect and maintain confidentiality of residents' information
* Assist nursing and other staff in verifying residents' readiness for transportation
Requirements:
* Valid driver's license
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred
* Basic mechanical knowledge required
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
* Ability to establish and maintain relationships with residents, customers, and coworkers
* Ability to learn new tasks and information and apply to serving others
* Ensure a safe living and working environment
Work Environment:
* Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
* May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
* May be required to lift and move equipment or supplies
