As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:


Directing and inspiring a team in the daily oversight of project safety, quality assurance, scheduling, budget management, contractual obligations, risk assessment, supplier coordination, proposal evaluations, documentation handling, client relations, and other essential tasks necessary for executing Design-Only, Engineer Procure Construct (EPC), Construction Management, and Program Management projects.

The Project Manager is accountable for leading projects from their initial phase to completion and may take on the role of EPC Project Manager or Program Manager, while also providing mentorship to others in these positions as dictated by project requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing all facets of multi-discipline engineering projects from conception to execution, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, engineering standards, procurement processes, construction protocols, environmental regulations, project controls, and community relations.
  • Establishing project teams, coordinating activities across various disciplines, and ensuring effective and economical use of personnel.
  • Managing all project communications effectively.
  • Leading the Project Management team in the development of request for proposal (RFP) packages, bid processes, and scope of work documentation.
  • Creating and monitoring project timelines, managing project scope, and controlling financial expenditures.
  • Acting as the primary liaison for clients on matters such as coordination, strategic planning, scope management, budget oversight, subcontracting, staffing, environmental compliance, and schedule management.
  • Overseeing the review, negotiation, approval, and execution of contracts and change orders.
  • Conducting internal and external project risk assessments and consulting with the Risk Department as necessary.
  • Managing and approving internal and external reporting, providing precise project cost forecasts and accruals to clients and leadership.
  • Monitoring project progress and providing insights into areas of concern, guiding adjustments to enhance project schedules, productivity, budget adherence, quality, and overall project profitability.
  • Responsible for the completion of contract closeout activities.
  • Generating new business opportunities by cultivating new client relationships or leveraging existing ones.
  • Adhering to safety protocols, training, and policies, while promoting and managing the safety and health performance of team members and subcontractors.
  • Participating in industry conferences and committees.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with QA/QC processes and company safety policies.

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in construction project environments or program management within sectors such as aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transmission & distribution, or water is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders (owners, contractors, engineers, designers) in a multi-disciplinary project team to resolve design or drawing challenges and achieve objectives.
  • Strong expertise in document control, scheduling, cost management, and project management software.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range:
$70-$80 per hour
