About the Role

Dewberry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our team in Richmond, VA. As a key member of our Land Surveying / Engineering team, you will be responsible for providing professional oversight and management for entitlement surveying services, focusing on boundary determinations, zoning exhibits, and writing legal descriptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and as-built plans.
  • Prepare legal descriptions and cost proposals.
  • Coordinate projects with multiple team members and clients.
  • Review performance on actual projects from a quality, financial, and client satisfaction perspective.
  • Validate client satisfaction of Dewberry's performance and determine opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • AAS or BS degree in Surveying is preferred.
  • Licensed Land Surveyor in Virginia preferred, LSIT required.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in all aspects of land surveying and project management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Carlson Civil, and Survey.
