About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from injuries or illnesses and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists
  • Perform manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and other modalities to patients
  • Accurately document patient records and submit clinical paperwork on time
  • Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
  • Schedule clients and perform office tasks
  • Apply concepts of infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
  • Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Maintains clinical competency in Physical Therapy practice and theory
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally
  • Must read, write, and speak fluent English
