Job Summary

LEARN RESC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Student Support Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to students in our magnet schools, outplacement programs, and district contracts in Southeastern Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs
  • Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to support students' learning and development
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
  • Provide consultation and training to staff on physical therapy best practices and strategies
Requirements
  • DPH licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based assessments and interventions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
