LEARN RESC is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Student Support Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing physical therapy services to students in our magnet schools, outplacement programs, and district contracts in Southeastern Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify students' physical therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized physical therapy plans to support students' learning and development
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students
- Provide consultation and training to staff on physical therapy best practices and strategies
- DPH licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in school settings
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and evidence-based assessments and interventions
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team
