About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at CenterWell Home Health. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy treatment plans developed by Physical Therapists
  • Perform non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and other modalities
  • Accurately document patient records and submit clinical paperwork on time
  • Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
  • Notify Physical Therapists or Executive Director of equipment failures, supply issues, or staff/client changes
  • Schedule clients and perform various office tasks
  • Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
  • Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an American Physical Therapy Association
  • Current state license to practice Physical Therapy
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Proof of current CPR certification
  • Minimum two years experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Comprehensive knowledge of geriatric population changes
  • Self-directed, enthusiastic, and accepts constructive feedback
  • Good verbal and written communication and organization skills
  • Professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers, and others

CenterWell Home Health offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $63,500 - $87,500 per year. We also provide medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k) retirement savings plan, time off, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and other opportunities.
