This position plays a vital part in ensuring the highest quality standard of care in pharmacy medication storage and distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain automated medication distribution systems to achieve high-quality standards of care.
  • Monitor processes surrounding the automated distribution of medications to evaluate compliance with procedures and integrity of equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to staff on the use and maintenance of automated systems.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy automation or a related field.
  • Certifications: National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within 6 months of hire date.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service, detail-oriented, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Microsoft Office applications, problem-solving skills, and strong team player.
