Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ordering materials, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of supplies.

• Order materials and manage inventory, including looking up material codes in our system.
• Check lead times and delivery schedules to ensure timely shipments.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing vendors.
• Work with subcontractors to coordinate material needs and deliveries.
• Utilize JobBoss software for all accounting, inventory, supplies, and timesheets.
• Collaborate with our small office team, stepping in to assist with various tasks as needed.

• Experience in a job shop or contract manufacturing environment, specifically in metal manufacturing.
• Familiarity with JobBoss software or similar systems (training will be provided).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
