Position Overview

This is a remote opportunity within the Sales Division, reporting directly to the Director of Sales for North America. Your primary focus will be to identify and secure new business opportunities within the food production sector, aiming to meet ambitious sales objectives through a systematic and knowledgeable approach.

**Candidates must be located in the Southern region of Texas and be fluent in Spanish.**

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Actively seek out new clients while collaborating with our Operations and Marketing Teams to enhance existing partnerships.
  • Client Portfolio Development: Build and manage your own portfolio of clients, typically including companies involved in the growth, packaging, processing, storage, cooling, or harvesting of fresh produce, as well as importers and exporters of food products.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain a strong sales pipeline that aligns with your targets for the current and upcoming years.
  • Sales Strategy Implementation: Create and execute your sales plan, monitoring progress through a CRM system.
  • Prospect Engagement: Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, ensuring effective communication and successful deal closures.
  • Client Engagement: Encourage existing clients to explore additional services and ensure they are utilizing our tools effectively.
  • Representation: Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and trade shows as necessary.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to meet clients and attend events as required by the company.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B sales.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for building diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in the product testing, inspection, and audit industry, with knowledge of global trade issues, is highly advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage schedules independently and guide internal teams effectively.
  • Proven sales track record with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills, capable of interacting in various cultural contexts.
  • Must reside in Texas.
