Job Summary:

As an Administrative Specialist at Vail Resorts, you will provide critical support to our Ski Patrol team, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resource for Keystone Ski Patrol, providing administrative assistance and ensuring timely payroll processing
  • Process accurate and timely payroll, purchasing, receiving, and processing invoices
  • Support Ski Patrol interviewing, hiring, on-boarding, and off-boarding of approximately 110 employees
  • Assist with daily scheduling for the ski season, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Interact positively and effectively with other employees, supervisors, managers, and departments
  • Administer budget development and forecasting, utilizing strong organizational skills and verbal and written communication

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of administrative experience, with strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Payroll experience required, with purchasing/procurement experience strongly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, and previous experience with budgeting and financial tracking
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field strongly preferred, with Keystone and/or Vail Resorts experience also preferred
