Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Imaging Specialist to join our team at Efficus, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mammography and breast health, with excellent communication and patient care skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform breast imaging procedures, including mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy, and breast ultrasound, while following MQSA and ACR guidelines.
  • Identify and review patient requisitions for consistency with clinical diagnoses and demographic information.
  • Work with Mammography and stereotactic equipment, examinations, and protocols, as well as procedures requiring contrast agents and sterile techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and loved ones to guide them through breast imaging procedures and coordinate continuity of care.
  • Review and perform breast imaging examinations for technical accuracy and present completed examinations to radiologists.
  • Schedule breast imaging appointments and assist in coordinating exams to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Assist in managing department workflow to ensure completion of work assignments and proper patient charging.
  • Organize and monitor medical supply inventory to ensure cost-effective departmental spending.
  • Promote breast health education through organizational promotional and educational events.
  • Participate in new employee orientation and maintain 24 CEU credits according to A.R.R.T. guidelines.
Requirements:
  • 3 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Documentation of Mammography training, Digital Mammography training, and Tomosynthesis Mammography training required.
