Job Summary

The Diagnostic Imaging Specialist will operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographic and computed tomography images of body regions for diagnostic purposes, as ordered by a licensed medical provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographic and computed tomography images
  • Communicate effectively with patients and an interdisciplinary healthcare team
  • Follow established departmental procedures and work efficiently
  • Navigate emergent situations and demonstrate ability to communicate effectively

Requirements

Incumbents must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology, have an active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), and an active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists.

Advanced certification in Computed Tomography or MRI by the ARRT or demonstrated competency with 1-year experience may be considered.

Candidates must also demonstrate evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
