Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgery team, where you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Perform daily patient rounds to monitor progress.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatments and medications.
  • Consult with the Supervising Physician regarding patient health status.
  • Document patient progress and discharge summaries accurately.
  • Educate patients and families about treatment plans and medications.
  • Order necessary laboratory and diagnostic tests as directed.
  • Assist in surgical procedures as needed under supervision.
  • Recognize and address patient care issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Florida License and National Certification as a Physician Assistant preferred.
  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's Degree is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
