Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, providing care under the supervision of a physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and offer guidance to Veterans and their families regarding treatment options and health management.
  • Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and care standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals within the facility and community clinics.
  • Provide telehealth consultations and demonstrate the ability to work independently within established guidelines.

Work Environment:
This position may require participation in rotating call coverage, including nights and weekends. The specific work schedule will be determined based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:
Applicants must be graduates of an accredited Physician Assistant program and hold a valid license in their state of practice. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential.
