Job Overview

Unity Health Care seeks a seasoned Clinical Leader to spearhead the integration of behavioral health services across its medical practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for population health management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) model, engaging medical practice members and ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Supervise and mentor Behavioral/Mental Health providers, promoting quality and accuracy in their work.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and organizational champion for IBH, driving best-practice adoption and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director for Addiction Treatment to ensure substance use disorder treatment is fully integrated with behavioral health services.
  • Identify, implement, and supervise the clinical delivery of evidence-based behavioral health care, monitoring records and providing feedback as needed.
  • Participate in Unity's continuing quality improvement efforts and outside agency evaluation and accreditation reviews.
  • Develop and maintain policies related to behavioral health, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements:

  • Active clinical practice in Integrated Behavioral Health (IBH) at Unity Health Care.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience in population health management.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health workflows, including screening for depression and substance use disorder.
