UPMC Western Maryland is seeking a Full-time Patient Care Technician to support the Clinical Resource Team on the Weekends. This role requires working 24 hours per weekend, with shifts between Friday at 3 P.M. and Monday at 7 A.M. A 25% differential is added to the base rate for working in this program.
Responsibilities- Document patient information in the medical record according to established procedures.
- Perform assigned work in a timely and productive manner.
- Complete departmental clerical functions as needed.
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of general healthcare experience or completion of a UPMC patient care technician class required.
