Physical Therapist

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for providing home health care services to adult and geriatric clients in Alleghany County. You will work independently to assess and develop individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions. You will also educate and instruct clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote their health and safety.
Responsibilities:
* Assess clients' physical abilities and develop individualized care plans
* Provide manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, and other interventions as needed
* Educate and instruct clients and their families on rehabilitative care and activities
* Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided
Qualifications:
* Current Maryland Physical Therapist license
* Minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist
* Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
* Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
