Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide approachable and professional HR support to employees and potential candidates regarding various inquiries related to the People Team.
  • Oversee the initial stages of benefits administration.
  • Accurately input and review employee data within HRIS and payroll systems in a timely manner.
  • Assist employees with basic IT and systems-related queries, such as password resets and accessing paystubs.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, including the review of company policies and processing of necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain employee records, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of critical information such as job classifications, pay rates, and organizational structure.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices concerning employment law and workplace safety.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource for associates and leadership on HR practices, systems, and available resources.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, demonstrating confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
  • Proficient in technology, including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication tools.
  • Sound judgment with a proven ability to resolve issues effectively.
  • Strong time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • A genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience as an HR Generalist, HR Administrator, or in a similar capacity, preferably within a manufacturing context.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to spend extended periods seated at a desk and working on a computer.
