Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration and Check-in/Check-out: Register and process guests promptly upon arrival and departure, including greeting guests, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
- Front Desk Operations: Ensure guest satisfaction by managing the flow of communication at and around the front desk, inputting information into computer systems, and performing all guest accounting functions according to established hotel procedure.
- Guest Service and Support: Receive and process telephone and walk-in reservations accurately, maintain records of room availability and guest accounts, and review accounts and charges with guests during the checkout process.
- Team Collaboration: Maintain constant contact with support team members for guest needs, convey escort instructions to Bell persons, and assist in addressing all guest service needs and resolving any service-related problems or issues.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to operate automated phone systems.
- Technical Skills: Must be computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and hotel software.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, with strong problem and guest services skills.
- Teamwork and Adaptability: Skill in maintaining effective working relationships with staff and guests, with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations.
