Medical Oncology Nurse Specialist

As a Registered Nurse in our Outpatient Medical Oncology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients' responses and reporting any adverse reactions.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, addressing questions and concerns regarding treatment and care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Perform various clinical tasks, including wound care, IV administration, and medical procedures, as needed.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited registered nurse program or bachelor's degree in nursing.
- State of Georgia licensure as a registered nurse required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
